Recruitment Title: Monitoring of Broadcast Media Content
Location: Yola, Adamawa State
Duration: Six (6) Months
Scope of Work
Media Monitor engaged will track post 2019 election and democratic governance issues and document content of television and radio programmes related to the 2019 elections. The monitoring activities will be done in IMS media monitoring centre located in Yola, Adamawa state.
Duties and responsibilities
- Developing broadcast media monitoring work-plan for the assignment
- Tracking, documenting, analysing television and radio programmes content
- Writing weekly, monthly and quarterly reports on content of programmes monitored
Qualifications and Experience

Competences:
- Proven capacity in ICT
- Proven capacity in the use of social/new media and online resources
- Report writing and analytical skills
- Ability to receive/integrate feedback
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstration of integrity and ethical standards
- Familiarity with Nigerian governance and broadcast media landscape
Languages:
- Fluency in both spoken and written English
- Proficiency in at least one indigenous Nigerian language used on radio and television in
Adamawa state
